On October 1, 2025, employees of the Department of State Revenue for the North Kazakhstan region held a press conference on the topic: "Major changes to the Tax Code from January 1, 2026" with the participation of representatives of the local media.

During the meeting, the adopted norms on corporate income tax, value added tax, individual income tax, tax audits, reduction of tax reporting, compulsory collection of tax debts and others were discussed.

Key questions that media representatives were interested in:

1. The procedure for the transition to new special tax regimes;
2. Adoption of a list of activities for which the use of the SNR on a simplified declaration is prohibited, and a list of activities for which the use of the SNR for the self-employed is permitted.;
3. Taxation of agricultural producers from January 1, 2026;
4. Statistics on vehicles subject to benefits from January 1, 2026 and other issues.

All the questions were answered.
