In coordination with the Head of State, Timur Kairbekovich Suleimenov was appointed to the post of Prosecutor of the East Kazakhstan region by order of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the order of rotation.

He began his service in the Prosecutor's Office in 1997. Over the years, he worked in the district prosecutor's offices of Almaty, held the positions of prosecutor of the Turksib district, Deputy prosecutor, First Deputy Prosecutor of Almaty, First Deputy Prosecutor of Astana, Prosecutor of Kostanay region, Rector of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies at the Prosecutor General's Office. Prior to his appointment, he held the position of Chief Transport Prosecutor.

Gabit Sadyrbekov, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan, introduced the new head to the team. Gabit Sadyrbekov, noting the high professionalism and experience of the new head of the supervisory authority of the region, expressed confidence that under his leadership, the Prosecutor's Office of East Kazakhstan would achieve new results in strengthening law and order in the region.

At the same time, the Deputy Prosecutor General outlined key priorities in the activities of the supervisory authority for the coming period. In particular, attention was drawn to the need to strengthen work in the field of environmental legislation, protect the rights of entrepreneurs and investors, ensure legality in criminal proceedings and respect for the constitutional rights of citizens, prevent offenses and further strengthen the principles of Law and Order. Taking into account the industrial orientation of the region, a number of separate tasks have been set in terms of strengthening compliance supervision legislation on industrial safety, labor protection and labor rights of citizens and labor protection.

The staff of the regional Prosecutor's Office expressed their willingness to work constructively to implement the tasks set by the higher prosecutor's office. Until now, the regional Prosecutor's office has been led by Almat Baishulakov, who was appointed Prosecutor of the Pavlodar region on a rotating basis by order of the Prosecutor General.
