In Georgia, significant differences between your appearance and your photograph may lead to delays at the border and, in some cases, to a ban on entry or exit.

To avoid problems with identification when passing through border control at checkpoints across the Georgian state border, it is recommended that if the photograph in your passport is out of date, you renew the document with a new photograph.
