A REMINDER FOR TAXPAYERS On exemption from payment of state duty in courts
14.10.2025 17:37:34 785Dear taxpayer, In accordance with subparagraph 13) of Article 616 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Taxes and Other Mandatory Payments to the Budget" (Tax Code), the following categories of citizens are exempt from paying state duties to judicial authorities: 1. Veterans of the Great Patriotic War; 2. Veterans who have equal benefits to veterans of the Great Patriotic War; 3. Veterans of military operations on the territory of other states; 4. Persons awarded orders and medals of the USSR: - for selfless work and impeccable military service in the rear during the Great Patriotic War; - persons who have worked (served) for at least 6 months from June 22, 1941 to May 9, 1945, but not awarded orders and medals for selfless work and impeccable military service in the rear during the Great Patriotic War; 5. Persons with disabilities; 6. One of the parents of a person with a disability since childhood, a child with a disability. These categories of citizens are exempt from paying state duty on all cases and documents submitted to the courts. It is important to know: If you have already paid the state fee, but were eligible for an exemption, you can refund this amount. The refund period is 3 years from the date of payment (based on paragraph 6 of Article 108 of the Tax Code).
