For one day, the aviation base of the National Guard turned into a place where the dreams of young patriots soared above the clouds. Fifty participants of the “Zhas Sarbaz” military-patriotic movement visited military unit 3656 to witness how the power that conquers the sky is born.

For the children, this excursion became a real journey into the world of aviation. They learned how those who guard the country from above live and serve, saw legendary aircraft and helicopters, and spoke with pilots who shared their experiences with pride and sincerity.

“We wanted to show our young people that love for the Motherland is not just words. It is a choice, a path, and a service. The aviators of the National Guard are an example of courage, discipline, and dedication,”
— said Aidarhan Makhanbet, Head of the Astana branch of the “Zhas Sarbaz” movement.

Particular excitement among the students was sparked by the powerful Y8 transport aircraft. They examined the cockpit, touched the instruments, and listened attentively to every word of the pilots.

“It’s the first time I’ve seen military aircraft up close! It’s incredible. Such meetings inspire and make you want to become part of the army,”
— shared Dilyara Tleukenova, a 10th-grade student of School-Gymnasium No. 74 named after M. Makatayev.

Such visits help strengthen the patriotic spirit of the younger generation and foster respect for those who serve and protect the Motherland.
