Prospects for Kazakhstan–Brazil Cooperation in Agriculture

On October 9, 2025, in Astana, a meeting was held between KazAID, the National Agrarian Science and Education Center (NASEC), and the Brazilian company Sementes Savana, with the participation of the Embassy of Brazil in Kazakhstan.

The meeting was attended by Arken Arystanov, Chairman of the Board of KazAID; Marcel Fortuna Biato, Ambassador of Brazil to Kazakhstan; Luciano Pereira Ferreira, General Director of Sementes Savana; and Maksim Sutula, Deputy Chairman of NASEC for Science.

The parties discussed joint prospects in the field of agriculture, particularly within the framework of the Sementes Savana Project, aimed at sustainable cooperation between Brazil and Kazakhstan.
