Mayor of Kostanay Marat Zhundubayev held an off-site meeting at the facilities where work continues on repairing the facades of apartment buildings.

Since 2019, the facades of 168 houses in Kostanay have been updated. This year, repairs are being carried out in 20 more houses, of which 12 are undergoing current and 8 are undergoing major repairs.

As part of the overhaul, the facades, roofs and glazing of the balconies are being completely renovated. During the current renovation, facades are painted, balconies are glazed in a single architectural style and decorative lighting is installed.

In addition, entrepreneurs whose facilities are located on the ground floors of residential buildings are updating the entrances and facades, contributing to the formation of a modern and aesthetic appearance of city streets.

Following the meeting, the mayor instructed the Housing and Communal Services department to ensure the improvement of adjacent territories after the completion of facade work, and the Housing Relations department to complete all repairs by October 20 of this year.
