On October 13, 2025, Ambassador-at-Large – Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, Zhanibek Abdrashov, received Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Almaty Jiang Wei on the occasion of the completion of her diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan. During the conversation, Zh. Abdrashov thanked for the contribution to the expansion and strengthening of friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two fraternal countries and wished the diplomat success in her future activities. The Consul General was also awarded a certificate of honour on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in recognition of her significant contribution to the development of political, economic, and cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and China.
