The Department of State Revenue for the city of Almaty informs that in accordance with the Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, persons engaged in certain types of activities (ATS) are subject to registration as taxpayers.

These types of activities include:
- production of gasoline, diesel fuel, coal gas and other petroleum products;
- wholesale and/or retail sale of these petroleum products;
- production of ethyl alcohol and alcoholic beverages;
- wholesale and/or retail sale of alcohol;
- production and/or wholesale of tobacco products;
- gambling business;
- production and assembly of excisable goods;
- electronic trading of goods.

Registration as a taxpayer carrying out internal affairs is carried out by the tax authority within 3 working days.:

- from the date of notification submission;

- or from the date of receipt of information from the system elicense.kz .

Notifications are sent in electronic or paper form (Order of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 4 dated January 6, 2015).

In April 2025, the integration of ISNA and elicense systems was implemented.kz, which provides automatic data exchange. The address register code (RKA) is used for correct exchange.

If the property does not have an RKA, you can get it.:

- in the departments of architecture and urban planning;

- or through a portal eGov.kz .
