Kazakh-Armenian Relations Discussed in Yerevan

Yerevan, 14 October 2025 - Ambassador of Kazakhstan Bolat Imanbayev held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan. During the meeting, the Armenian side was briefed on Kazakhstan’s ongoing political and socio-economic development processes, as well as the Government’s priorities in implementing the President’s Address to the Nation “Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Urgent Tasks and Their Solutions through Digital Transformation.”

The parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation. It was noted that Kazakh-Armenian relations are characterized by a constructive political dialogue, steady expansion of trade and economic ties, and sustainable development of cultural and humanitarian exchanges. The similarity of positions on a wide range of international and regional issues was also emphasized.

To further deepen the partnership, the sides examined opportunities for expanding trade and economic cooperation. It was underlined that the current volume of mutual trade does not fully reflect the potential of the two economies. Promising areas of collaboration were identified as agriculture, industry, and information technologies.

Special attention was given to strengthening ties between the business communities of Kazakhstan and Armenia. In this context, both sides expressed mutual interest in establishing effective transport and logistics routes to facilitate broader cooperation.
