On September 16, the East Kazakhstan Regional Library for Children's and Youth hosted the traditional cultural event — the festival "Nan Dastarkhan Baylygy", dedicated to bread, one of the most revered foods in world culture. The literary and musical opening of the festival served as an invitation to embark on a gastronomic journey through the “bakeries” of different countries.

The French workshop “Crispy Croissant” unveiled the secrets of making airy pastries, while the Italian school “Sunny Pizza” shared the art of preparing crispy focaccia. The Kazakh corner “Golden Baursak” introduced visitors to the ancient craft of baking the traditional national treat, and the English bakery “Fresh Muffin” immersed guests in the atmosphere of a classic afternoon tea. The Uzbek workshop “Cheerful Samsa” taught participants how to make juicy, flaky pastries, while the Russian kitchen, presented by “Golden Blin”, showed children how to cook the famous Russian blini. Young readers not only learned about the bread-making traditions of different cultures, but also became part of this fascinating culinary journey, where everyone had the chance to observe and try their hand at being a real baker. The festival "Nan Dastarkhan Baylygy" became a true celebration of flavor, culture, and friendship.
