The State Academic Russian Drama Theatre named after M. Gorky hosted the premiere of the drama “Aliya” (written by K. Zhunisov and I. Sedin), dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Hero of the Soviet Union Aliya Moldagulova — a symbol of courage, strength of spirit, and love for the Motherland.

The performance brought together theatre actors and servicemen of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan on one stage, becoming a vivid example of creative collaboration between art and military service.

The first showing of “Aliya” took place on March 6 at the same theatre and received a wide public response — the audience gave a standing ovation, and many could not hold back their tears.

The production, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Aliya Moldagulova and the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, was held within the framework of the “100 Days to Victory” campaign initiated by the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

A special atmosphere was created by the male choir and orchestra of the National Guard, filling the stage with the living energy of valor and patriotism. The musical accompaniment enhanced the drama and emotional depth of the performance, allowing the audience to relive the heroic story of the legendary heroine.

The drama “Aliya” became more than just a theatrical event — it was a sincere dialogue between generations, where words, music, and stagecraft told the story of heroism and self-sacrifice of a young woman who forever inscribed her name in the history of Kazakhstan.

The production once again confirmed that the cooperation between the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the M. Gorky Drama Theatre has become a major cultural event in the capital, uniting art and patriotism in a single emotional impulse.
