The National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Held an Expanded Meeting on the Results of the First Nine Months of 2025

An expanded meeting was held in Astana under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs – Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard, Major General Ansagan Baltabekov, on the topic: “On the state of the service and combat activities of the National Guard for the first nine months of 2025 and the tasks for the fourth quarter.”
The meeting was attended by the heads of main departments, centers, and independent divisions of the Main Command, as well as commanders of regional commands and military units.
The agenda included key issues concerning the activities of the law and order troops: organization of combat service for the protection and supervision of penal institutions, the state of discipline and legality, readiness of military towns for the 2025–2026 heating season, and prospects for the further development of the National Guard.
Major General A. Baltabekov emphasized that ensuring legality, discipline, and the safety of personnel remains a top priority. Special attention was given to preventive measures aimed at preserving the lives and health of servicemen during the winter period, including vitaminization, vaccination, control of nutrition and water supply, provision of seasonal uniforms, and maintaining proper temperature conditions in duty and living areas.
“The National Guard must remain a reliable shield of the state. Every serviceman must be aware of his responsibility to society and the law. The inevitability of punishment for offenses, along with a high level of discipline and professionalism, forms the foundation of public trust in the law and order troops,”
— stressed Major General A. Baltabekov.
Among the priority tasks for the upcoming period are: ensuring the inevitability of punishment for committed offenses, organizing the conscription campaign at a high level with active information support, and conducting the maximum selection and contract signing with conscripted servicemen completing their service in November 2025.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief instructed leaders at all levels to strengthen personal responsibility for the implementation of assigned tasks and to ensure coordinated work aimed at enhancing combat readiness and improving the command and control system of the law and order troops.
