The Department of State Revenues for the Alakol District held an Open Day dedicated to addressing current issues of concern to taxpayers. The main purpose of the event was to enhance transparency and openness in the activities of the state revenue authorities, strengthen public and business trust, and prevent corruption.

During the event, a survey was conducted among taxpayers to assess their level of satisfaction with the quality of public services provided and to identify possible factors contributing to corruption risks.

In addition, specialists of the department explained in detail the main provisions of the new Tax Code, which will come into force on January 1, 2026. Particular attention was paid to the changes in the taxation system for small and medium-sized businesses, the introduction of a progressive scale of individual income tax, as well as the new procedure for applying tax deductions and special tax regimes.

Participants had the opportunity to ask questions, share their suggestions, and receive professional consultations on taxation and reporting issues.

Such events contribute to improving the tax literacy of the population, strengthening partnership relations between taxpayers and the state revenue authorities, and fostering an anti-corruption culture in society.
