Meeting between KazAID and the Embassy of Romania in Kazakhstan

On October 16, 2025, in Astana, Chairman of KazAID Arken Arystanov met with the Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Madalina Lupu.

During the meeting, the parties discussed KazAID’s activities for 2024–2025, including the implementation of the annual programs “Dostyk” and “Avicenna,” as well as the organization of training seminars on topics such as earthquake risk reduction, Kaizen methodology, development of public catering, acceleration of transparency report (BTR) preparation, and statistical data visualization.

Special attention was given to potential cooperation between KazAID and the Romanian Agency for International Development Cooperation (RoAid). The parties discussed prospects for joint projects in 2026 within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in the field of Official Development Assistance (ODA).
