Thesedocumentsestablish the principles of transparency,objectivityand non-discrimination,ensuringuniformity of approachesindetermining the origin of goodsinallMemberStates of the Union.

The key criteria for recognizing the country of origin are:

1. Completeproduction of goodson the territory of the state;
2. Sufficientrecyclingifmaterialsfromdifferentcountries are usedinproduction.

Currenttrends are relatedto the introduction of digitaltools for trackingsupplychainsandelectroniccertification of origin,whichallows for increasedtransparency of proceduresandreducedadministrativebarriers.

Thus, current approaches are aimed at improving and unifying the rules for determining the country of origin of goods, which contributes to the development of fair and predictable foreign trade.
