On October 22, the East Kazakhstan Library for Children and Youth hosted a remarkable event — the «Bookologically» festival - 2025, which became a vivid milestone in the nationwide environmental campaign «Taza Kazakhstan.» The event turned into a unique platform where creativity, education, and environmental awareness merged into one.
The festival program was rich and varied, featuring a wide range of activities aimed at fostering environmental awareness and a responsible attitude toward nature:
- a large-scale campaign to collect plastic bottle caps for recycling;
- a creative workshop on making art objects from recycled materials;
- an exhibition of artistic installations;
- an informative presentation on the issue of plastic pollution and the importance of recycling.
Particular attention was given to the online presentation of works by Oralbek Rabilovich Bulzhanov — a talented craftsman from the village of Kurshim, who has been creating remarkable decorative figures from plastic bottles for over ten years. An important guest of the event was Nurlan Turarov, a representative of the recycling plant in Ust-Kamenogorsk. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of fostering environmental awareness among the younger generation. The culmination of the festival was the creation of a large-scale composition made from collected plastic bottle caps. This art installation became a vivid symbol of people’s unity in their shared commitment to a clean and green future. The «Bookologically-2025» festival proved that the combination of reading, creativity, and environmental awareness can become a powerful tool in preserving our planet for future generations. It demonstrated that each of us is capable of making a meaningful contribution to solving environmental issues through creativity and constructive action.
