Medina, October 27, 2025 – The Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Jeddah, Ruslan Kospanov, met with representatives of the Kazakh business community and students in Medina.

The meeting was attended by founders and representatives of the Kazakh engineering company “Sueco”, the gastronomic business – the first Kazakh restaurant in Medina “Yurt”, the coffee shop “Jump in Goat”, as well as community activists and bloggers.

During the informal gathering, the Consul General congratulated Kazakh citizens on the Republic Day and wished them success and further development.

The participants exchanged views on the cultural life of the Kazakh community and shared proposals and initiatives regarding the joint organization of various events.

In addition, a preventive conversation was held with students studying at the Islamic University of Medina, aimed at countering destructive ideologies and movements.

The visit concluded with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting event marking the opening of the first Kazakh national cuisine restaurant “Yurt” in Medina.
