The President was briefed on the airport's operations and the handling of domestic and international flights.
The head of state was shown the check-in and passenger screening areas, border and customs control points, the waiting room, and the automated baggage system.
The new terminal opened last November. 16.6 billion tenge of private investment was invested in the project.
4.3 billion tenge was allocated from the local budget for the creation of engineering and communications infrastructure.
