On the eve of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, employees of the institution No. 19 DUIS in the Abai region took part in the burial ceremony of the remains of soldier Belyubaev Orazgali, a native of the village of Zubair, who died in 1943 in battles in the Novgorod region in the Russian Federation.

          The remains of the soldier were discovered during search operations at the site of military operations during the Great Patriotic War in the area of the city of Staraya Russa, Novgorod region. Thanks to the efforts of the search teams and archival data, it was possible to identify the soldier.

           Belyubaev Orazgali was born in 1908 and was drafted to the front by the Belagach district military enlistment office. Defending his homeland, he died in 1943. He was considered missing until the remains of the soldier were discovered by the Russian search team “Medved” in October 2024. After more than 80 years, he was returned to his native land to find eternal peace next to his loved ones. He had no children. The children of his brother and sister live in his native village.

          Military honors were performed at the event, words of gratitude were expressed for the feat of a soldier and the memory of all those who fell during the war, said Askhat Kerimkhanov, head of the educational department.
