District Akim Berik Sarmenbayev met with district librarians at the “Rukhaniyat” Center and congratulated them on their professional holiday.
The festive reception was attended by the Chairman of the District Council of Veterans, Musa Keldibayev, Deputy of the Regional maslikhat, Zhumabek Embergenov, industry veterans and employees, as well as readers.
“The Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, emphasized: ‘The library is the main memory of the state and the nation. Most of the valuable historical data and materials are preserved in libraries. Therefore, we must not remain indifferent to the development of library work.’
With the support of the Akim of the region, Nurlibek Mashbekovich Nalibayev, night libraries are operating in the region. This year, the ‘Rukhaniyat’ Center was opened in the district, and within it, a 24-hour library now serves readers,” said the Akim.
The People’s Writer of Kazakhstan, Abish Kekilbayev, once said: “Books made a person human, and libraries made humanity civilized.”
A book is a priceless treasure.
A library is a spiritual sanctuary and a sacred house of knowledge that influences people’s lives, opening the way to good deeds and a bright future.
Today, a librarian is not only someone who lends books but also a guide through the flow of daily information, a guardian, and a promoter of the library’s rich collection.
“We always highly value the work of librarians and treat their service with deep respect,” said Berik Abdigapparovich.
During the festive event, the district head presented veterans and employees of the field with Letters of Appreciation and expressed his gratitude.
At the reception, the Chairman of the District Council of Veterans, Musa Keldibayev, and industry veterans also shared their congratulatory remarks.
