On October 31, 2025, at the initiative of the Embassy of Kazakhstan to the Holy See Ambassador Timur Primbetov met with Monsignor Javier Fernández, Head of Protocol of the Secretariat of State of the Holy See.

During the cordial and friendly conversation, the parties discussed issues on the bilateral agenda, paying particular attention to the possibility of organizing and holding a Round Table in the Vatican by the end of 2025 between the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue of the Holy See.

At the end of the meeting, the interlocutors agreed to continue working contacts on protocol and organizational matters.
