Leading universities of Kazakhstan and the world are strengthening strategic partnerships

The President attended an international forum of strategic partners in the field of education and science. During the event, representatives of the global higher education space discussed new areas of cooperation with Kazakhstan.
Speaking about the impact of artificial intelligence on the labor market, Nunzio Quacquarelli, president and founder of the international rating agency Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), noted the increase in the number of Kazakhstani universities in the QS ranking. According to him, Kazakhstan is making significant progress in internationalization and scientific competitiveness. Five of our universities are also included in the list of the best universities in the world, presented by the Times Higher Education publication. According to Nunzio Quacquarelli, QS intends to cooperate with Kazakhstan in creating a model for predicting future professions and developing an economy based on knowledge and innovation.
Professor Wendy Larner, President of Cardiff University (UK), has highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership with Kazakhstan in the field of education and artificial intelligence. She said that Cardiff University is a member of the prestigious Russell Group and is the first university to open a campus in Kazakhstan. The new Cardiff University Kazakhstan campus will become a center for training specialists in the fields of artificial intelligence, biotechnology and medicine.
Professor Peng Duan, President of Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU), emphasized the role of education in strengthening mutual trust between peoples. He emphasized the importance of opening the BLCU branch, the first Chinese language teaching center in Central Asia, on the basis of Astana International University.
According to the professor, language and culture are the main keys to diplomacy of mutual understanding and trust between countries.
