On October 17th, 2025, Ambassador Kanat Tumysh attended the International Conference on Contemporary Issues in Tourism Research, hosted by the Faculty of Tourism Studies, VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH, VNU), Hanoi, on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the Faculty’s establishment.

As one of the main speakers at the conference, Ambassador Tumysh delivered remarks highlighting the growing cooperation between Vietnam and Kazakhstan in tourism — including the expansion of direct flight routes, increasing two-way travel, and the potential for developing sustainable, cultural, and eco-tourism models connecting Central and Southeast Asia.

The Ambassador also underscored the importance of academic exchange and research collaboration in advancing tourism innovation and strengthening people-to-people connections between the two countries.
