Zhanseit Tuymebayev, Chairman of the Board and Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, met with Salim Al-Malik, Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).

The two sides discussed opportunities to expand academic cooperation and the development of higher education in the era of new technologies and artificial intelligence.

In turn, Zhanseit Tuymebayev confirmed that a training course on CanSat satellite modeling will be held at Al-Farabi KazNU in September 2025 as part of the Kazakhstan Space Days international forum. He invited ISESCO leadership to participate in this event.

The ISESCO Director General expressed interest in strengthening ties to introduce innovations in higher education, organize joint events, and share experiences.

The meeting took place at ISESCO headquarters as part of the 6th Forum of Heads of Universities of the Islamic World.
