On June 17, 2025, Ambassador S. Saylaukyzy met with Tariq Ameziane Moufaddal, Chairman of MASEN, the group responsible for developing renewable energy in Morocco. During the meeting, the parties discussed establishing cooperation between Kazakhstan and Morocco in the field of renewable energy.

MASEN plays a key role in driving private investment in renewable energy and is at the center of Morocco's transition to green hydrogen. By 2030, the country aims to increase its installed renewable energy capacity to 120 GW and attract $300 billion in investment in the green hydrogen sector.
