On June 10, 2025, Ambassador S. Saylaukyzy met with Mohammed V University in Rabat, Rector Mohammed Khachi, during which the parties exchanged views on developing cooperation between the two countries in education and science, as well as student and faculty exchanges between the universities. Furthermore, the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Mohammed V University in Morocco was discussed.

Mohammed V University is one of the largest educational institutions in Morocco, with over 85,000 students, including 2,646 international students. The university's faculty consists of 1,836 faculty members, 97% of whom are Moroccan and the rest are international.
