As part of the "Taza Kazakstan" program, a modern greenhouse has opened at a school in the village of Karabatyr in the Kamysty District.
The main goal of the project is to foster environmental awareness among schoolchildren, cultivate a work ethic, and provide career guidance. The new greenhouse will allow children to consolidate their theoretical knowledge of biology and natural sciences through practical application.
The total cost of the project was 600,000 tenge, with funds allocated from the district budget. The 18-square-meter greenhouse will allow schoolchildren to master vegetable growing techniques and conduct research and practical work.
Amanzhol Kabylkhan, Akim (Mayor) of Karabatyr, noted the significance of the new facility:
"This project aims to foster environmental awareness and develop work skills in children. With the arrival of spring, in March, we plan to begin growing cucumbers and tomatoes," he emphasized.
Teachers note that the greenhouse creates new opportunities for practical classes. Lessons will focus on the subjects of Natural Science and Biology. Students will independently care for plants, conduct research, and select cultivation technologies adapted to regional conditions.
In the future, the greenhouse will be used for student research projects and participation in various environmental competitions.
The greenhouse in the village of Karabatyr is the first such environmental project in the Kamystinsky District, opening up new opportunities for environmental education and fostering a caring attitude toward nature in the younger generation.
