HELSINKI HOSTED A CONCERT «THE RHYTHMS OF THE NOMADS» DEDICATED TO THE DAY OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

Helsinki, November 3, 2025 – A festive concert «The Rhythms of the Nomads», dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took place at the largest cultural center in the Finnish capital the «Musiikkitalo».
The event was organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Finland with the support of the Akimat of the city of Almaty and the SME «Almaty Auenderi». The program featured renowned Kazakhstani ensembles – the folk instruments ensemble «Sazgen Sazy» and the ethno-rock band «Ulytau». Their performances included traditional kyuis, folk songs and contemporary musical pieces that embody the spirit of nomadic culture and its harmonious development in the modern world.
In his welcoming remarks, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Finland, Azamat Abdraimov, emphasized that the Day of the Republic is a symbol of Kazakhstan’s independence and unity, as well as the nation’s aspiration for development and openness to the world. «Today’s concert is our musical bridge of friendship through which we share the culture, history and soul of our people», the Ambassador noted.
The concert was attended by more than 300 guests, including government officials, representatives of cultural and public organizations of Finland, members of the diplomatic corps, the Kazakh diaspora and students.
The audience warmly received the performances, noting the artists’ high level of mastery, emotional depth and the original fusion of national melodies with contemporary rhythms.
Dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, «The Rhythms of the Nomads» concert became a significant event in Finland’s cultural life and made an important contribution to strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of the two countries.
