Large-scale events continue in the Kostanay region as part of the national "Taza Kazakstan" program, aimed at improving the environmental situation, improving local areas, and fostering a culture of environmental responsibility.

In the Karabalyk district, environmental campaigns and cleanup days are actively taking place, uniting residents around the idea of caring for their native land. The "Kind Cap" initiative, organized by the Karabalyk District Youth Resource Center, attracted particular attention. This campaign combines environmental and charitable missions by collecting plastic bottle caps for recycling. Proceeds from recycling are donated to the treatment of sick children.

Well-known volunteer Ekaterina Afanasyeva, who actively supported the initiative, noted:

"This is a wonderful idea that I've been working on for several years. Previously, bottle caps were sent to a neighboring country, but now they are accepted by organizations in Kostanay. The proceeds from recycling help sick children. I invite everyone who cares to join!"

The campaign ran from October 27 to November 4 and collected dozens of kilograms of plastic bottle caps. Schools, kindergartens, institutions, and residents of Karabalyk participated, demonstrating their active and passionate commitment to environmental conservation. The organizers express their gratitude to all participants for their generosity and support, emphasizing that each bottle cap is not just recyclable material, but a piece of kindness and hope.

The environmental initiatives under the "Taza Kazakhstan" program will continue with the "5 Minutes for Nature" flash mob, which will take place on November 4, 2025, in the village of Sarykol, Sarykol District. The organizer is the Youth Resource Center of the Internal Policy Department of the Sarykol District Akimat. The goal of the event is to improve environmental awareness among the population, foster a caring attitude toward the environment, and instill in young people an active civic stance on environmental issues and cleanliness.

As part of the flash mob, participants will clean up their neighborhoods, courtyards, green areas, and public spaces, demonstrating that caring for cleanliness begins with each yard and by personal example. Volunteers from the Youth Resource Center, working youth, school and college students, and active residents of the village will participate in the event.

The organizers emphasize that even five minutes dedicated to nature can bring tangible benefits and become an inspiration for others. Such events promote environmental responsibility and unity among district residents.

The "Taza Kazakhstan" program continues to unite residents of the Kostanay region, inspiring them to take good deeds and tangible steps to preserve the cleanliness, health, and beauty of their homeland.
