On November 6, the Central District Library, together with the staff of the Yelubai Omirzakov House of Culture, held a literary and musical evening titled “Mirzhakyp’s Spirit is Eternal,” dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding writer, poet, publicist, teacher, and public figure Mirzhakyp Dulatuly.

With welcoming speeches, the Head of the Department of Culture and Language Development Zhanat Nugmanova and the imam of the Ayet mosque Islam Khamzin addressed the audience, emphasizing the importance of preserving the spiritual heritage of the great educator and his contribution to the formation of national consciousness.

Teachers Ulbosyn Sakaуova from the Beyimbet Mailin School and Meruert Zhортynbayeva from the Sapar Yergaliev School spoke about the role of the Alash party in the history of Kazakhstan and the significance of Mirzhakyp Dulatuly’s works.

In their speeches, they stressed that the ideas and works of Mirzhakyp remain relevant even today — inspiring love for the Motherland, the pursuit of knowledge, and loyalty to one’s people.

During the evening, songs, kuis, and terme were performed. Teachers, students, and other guests emotionally recited poems written by the poet.

A book exhibition titled “The Literary Heritage of Mirzhakyp Dulatuly” was presented as part of the event.

The event took place in a warm and inspiring atmosphere and became a vivid reminder of the spiritual legacy of the Great Son of the Kazakh Nation.

45 people attended the event.
