KazAID and the Bureau of National Statistics Signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the Field of Official Development Assistance (ODA)

The Kazakhstan Agency of International Development KazAID and the Bureau of National Statistics of the ASPIR of the Republic of Kazakhstan signed a memorandum of mutual cooperation in the field of Official Development Assistance (ODA).

The document was signed by Arken Arystanov, Chairman of the Board of KazAID, and Maksat Turlubaev, Head of the Bureau of National Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The memorandum provides for cooperation between the parties in organizing and conducting international events with the participation of representatives from least developed countries, as defined by the OECD, the UN, and the World Bank classifications.

The cooperation covers the organization of conferences, seminars, forums, competitions, as well as educational and scientific events in the fields of economics, statistics, data management, and other areas related to the implementation of Official Development Assistance goals.

In addition, the parties intend to develop collaboration on the development and implementation of joint international initiatives in the field of ODA and statistics, the exchange of publicly available information, and the organization of specialized conferences, seminars, forums, round tables, and other events aimed at strengthening international cooperation and knowledge exchange.
