The Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the U.S. company Groq, Inc. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at fostering cooperation in the field of advanced computing systems and artificial intelligence.

The document provides for the deployment of Groq infrastructure in Kazakhstan, the implementation of pilot projects based on Alem.AI and Astana Hub, as well as the establishment of next-generation cloud data centers to support national and regional programs for the development of high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence.

Groq is also considering the possibility of opening an official representative office or innovation center in Kazakhstan, including within the International Center for Artificial Intelligence, to promote technology localization and the development of joint projects.
