Kazakhstan and the OSCE Reaffirmed their Interest in Advancing Dialogue and Trust-building

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman Issetov held a meeting with the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for Promotion of Dialogue and Confidence-Building Serge Rumin.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the priorities of Switzerland's OSCE Chairmanship in 2026, as well as preparations for the Ministerial Council, which will take place this December in Lugano (Switzerland).
Particular attention was paid to the activities of the Special Representative, including issues of promoting dialogue, confidence-building, the current international agenda, as well as interreligious and interfaith cooperation.
The Deputy Minister highlighted Kazakhstan's rich experience in promoting interreligious and interfaith dialogue. In this regard, the role of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions was noted as a unique international platform for open dialogue, mutual understanding, and strengthening trust among representatives of various faiths.
Special emphasis was placed on Kazakhstan’s active role in cooperation in Central Asia.
The parties confirmed their mutual interest to further developing contacts and exchanging experience to promote dialogue, strengthen mutual trust, and find joint approaches to important issues on the international agenda.
