The Ministry of Artificial Intelligence of Kazakhstan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cybersecurity with Palo Alto Networks, the global cybersecurity leader. The document was signed on the sidelines of the C5+1 Business Conference in Washington, D.C. This important step in establishing a strategic partnership opens new opportunities for joint efforts in protecting digital infrastructure, advancing AI technologies, and developing cybersecurity talent.

The main goal of the memorandum is to foster cooperation in the field of cybersecurity – a crucial priority amid the global challenges countries face in protecting information. Under the agreement, the Ministry and Palo Alto Networks will exchange advanced technologies, best practices, and expertise to enhance the protection of Kazakhstan’s key digital assets.

«The signing of the memorandum with Palo Alto Networks gives Kazakhstan access to cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies, including AI tools for threat monitoring and rapid response. The agreement will enable the implementation of modern educational programs for training specialists, joint project development, and the strengthening of the nation’s critical digital infrastructure»,- said Zhaslan Madiyev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence of Kazakhstan.
