On November 7, 2025, an extended meeting on tourism development was held at the Akimat of East Kazakhstan Region in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, with the participation of representatives of government bodies and entrepreneurs from the tourism industry.

The event was attended by Gulmira Sabralimova, Head of the Department for Explanatory Work and Contact Center of the Department of State Revenues for East Kazakhstan Region, and Gulzhanat Berkytova, Head of the Department for Desk Monitoring.

In her presentation, Gulmira Sabralimova provided clarifications on the key amendments introduced to the Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, while representatives of the Department answered the participants’ questions. Particular attention was paid to the innovations related to tax administration and the specifics of taxation in the tourism sector.

In conclusion, the participants emphasized the importance of continuing constructive dialogue between government bodies and the business community to enhance the transparency of tax policy and promote the further development of the region’s tourism industry.
