At the Art Center, a ceremonial event titled “Syr Eli – a Land of Deep History and Strong Unity” was held with the participation of the regional governor, Nurlibek Mashbekuly Nalibayev. During the event, several citizens of the Syr region were awarded state honors by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev.
Residents of the district watched the ceremony online at the District House of Culture.

The celebration then continued, as district residents were recognized on the award stage.

“As you know, on October 30, the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, paid a working visit to the Syrdarya region. During the visit, the President inspected new social, infrastructural, and industrial facilities, familiarized himself with the progress of major investment projects, and met with local citizens. The President highly appreciated the socio-economic development of the region. This is the result of the unity of the Syr people and their diligent work for the bright future of our independent country.

On behalf of the regional governor, Nurlibek Mashbekuly, I would like to express his deep gratitude and appreciation to all of you,” said Berik Abdigapparuly.

At the ceremony, several citizens contributing to the district’s socio-economic development were awarded the Regional Certificate of Honor and a Letter of Appreciation from the regional governor.
