District Akim Berik Sarmenbayev congratulated the district’s finance professionals and industry veterans on the National Currency Day and the professional holiday of financial sector workers.

– The history of our national currency begins with the Law “On the Introduction of the National Currency of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” signed by the President on November 12, 1993. From November 15, it was introduced as a new means of trade across the country. This day has become one of the notable dates in Kazakhstan’s history, and the national currency has become a key symbol of our country’s independence and statehood.

Since 1997, by Presidential Decree, November 15 has been celebrated as National Currency and Finance Professionals Day. The financial system is the backbone of managing the country’s economy, and specialists in the field are those who plan the budget and directly influence the implementation of state policy. Your professional skills, responsibility, and honest approach to accounting and discipline ensure the stable development of the national economy. A balanced district budget, timely financing of social facilities, and the infrastructural development of rural settlements are all the results of your highly responsible work. Tax revenues of the district budget continue to grow year by year, contributing to an increase in the district’s budget income. Based on the 10-month results this year, the district budget reached 13 billion tenge.

Our achievements would not have been possible without experienced and skilled specialists like you. Industry veterans, your many years of hard work to strengthen the district’s economic potential serve as an example for today’s generation.

– On this memorable occasion, I sincerely thank the veterans of the financial sector and today’s employees for their tireless efforts in developing the country’s economy, – said Berik Abdigapparuly.

During the celebratory reception, the district akim congratulated the head of the district treasury, Z. Rakhymshaeva, on her retirement.

– On this special day, the head of the district treasury, Zaghara Baykonyrkyzy Rakhymshaeva, is retiring. She has made an invaluable contribution to the development of the district. In the regional treasury, she held positions as an economist, treasurer, and department head, and since 2015, she has led the district treasury. Over ten years, she tirelessly worked to increase the district treasury’s revenues and contributed to the development of our economy. For her dedicated service in the financial system, I express my sincere gratitude to Zaghara Rakhymshaeva on behalf of the district and myself, – said the district akim.

After the congratulations, the district akim presented Z. Rakhymshaeva with the regional “Certificate of Honor.” Additionally, several veterans and employees who contributed to the district’s economic development were awarded letters of appreciation from the region, the regional deputy akim, and the district akim.

At the celebratory event, industry veterans conveyed warm words of appreciation to the finance professionals.
