Today, another citywide beautification event took place in Shymkent as part of the traditional "Taza Kazakstan" environmental campaign. The event took place in all districts of the metropolis—Abay, Al-Farabi, Yenbekshi, Karatau, and Turan.
The event was organized as part of the "Taza Beysenbi" campaign and brought together thousands of city residents, representatives of public organizations, utility workers, party activists, and young people. Residents actively participated in cleaning streets, courtyards, and public spaces, contributing to the common cause.
Such large-scale events not only contribute to improving the environmental situation, but also strengthen the spirit of mutual assistance and social responsibility among city residents.
In the Al-Farabi district, cleanup days have become a tradition. Local beautification efforts are carried out regularly. Today's event took place in the Saule neighborhood. Residents, working with municipal services, cleaned up trash in apartment buildings and private homes and tidied up the streets.
According to Berik Zhanaev, head of the district administration department, about fifty cleanup days have been held in the district since the beginning of the year.
"Residents' interest in such events is growing every year. In winter, we clear snow, and in spring and fall, we plant trees and remove trash. We also regularly hold awareness-raising events to promote environmental awareness among the population," he noted.
He also said that about 400 trees have been planted in the district recently. The work is being carried out at the request of residents. In cases where residents are unable to plant trees themselves, akimat staff provide the necessary assistance and carry out the planting themselves.

In the Yenbekshinsky District, a cleanup day was held in the courtyard of apartment building No. 54 on Zhibek Zholy Street. Representatives of the Shymkent city branch of the AMANAT party participated in the event. Together with residents, they removed household waste, mowed dry grass, trimmed branches, and whitewashed tree trunks.
Zhaksylyk Atayev, a representative of the Yenbekshinsky District Akim's office, noted the importance of such events:
"Maintaining cleanliness in everyday life is a manifestation of love and care for one's homeland. If every resident maintains their own yard, the entire city will become cleaner and more beautiful. The "Taza Beysenbi" campaign is aimed precisely at fostering this kind of responsibility," he said.

In the rapidly developing Turan district, the cleanup day took place in a unique atmosphere. Young people and veterans of the district participated in the event. Together, they cleared the area of trash and landscaped the surrounding areas.
Darikha Ramanova, head of the Turansky District Akimat department, emphasized that the goal of such events is not only cleanup but also fostering a caring attitude toward nature:
"We want young people to follow the example of the older generation and pay attention to cleanliness. Keeping the city clean is our shared responsibility," she noted.
During the cleanup, fallen leaves were collected, ditches and irrigation systems were cleaned, and trees and shrubs were maintained.
Satybaldy Adilbekuly, Chairman of the Veterans' Council, also took part in the cleanup, wielding a shovel and broom. He said that keeping the city clean is a symbol of intergenerational continuity and a manifestation of civic responsibility.

Representatives of the Shymkent City Youth Resource Center also actively supported the campaign, conducting a cleanup in the Al-Farabi district as part of the "TazaShym" initiative. Young volunteers collected household waste and tidied up public spaces.
In addition, all educational institutions in the city held classes and special lectures aimed at fostering environmental awareness. Schoolchildren were taught about the importance of environmental protection, respect for nature, and the need to recycle household waste.
For example, Secondary School No. 59 held an open lesson on ecology. Students actively participated in events and lectures called "Taza Kala," where they learned about the importance of maintaining cleanliness and developing an environmental culture.

Today, the national project "Taza Kazakhstan" is not just an environmental initiative, but a long-term program aimed at changing public consciousness and developing a new culture of behavior.
Shymkent is a shining example of environmental initiatives. Thanks to systematic work and the support of residents, a new understanding is emerging: "a clean environment equals a quality life."
The city administration calls on residents to keep their yards clean, maintain order in public places, and actively participate in the improvement of their city.
As a result of today's large-scale cleanup days, streets, courtyards, public spaces, and recreation areas were cleaned up across all districts of the city. These events had a positive impact on the overall environmental situation in Shymkent and will be continued on an ongoing basis.
