A new project aimed at directly gathering opinions and suggestions from Shymkent residents has been launched in Shymkent. "Citizens' Contribution to Shymkent's Development," initiated by Shymkent Mayor Gabit Syzdykbekov, provides residents with the opportunity to freely and easily share their ideas for the city's development.

During the akim's regular meetings with the public and his tours of the city, many proposals and initiatives regarding city infrastructure, public spaces, and social issues are received from residents. These opinions will now be collected through a dedicated digital system.

As part of the project, QR codes will soon be installed in public spaces, institutions, bus stops, and on buses themselves. By scanning the code, any resident will be able to submit their proposals online regarding city development. This is a simple and accessible way for citizens to provide feedback.

City Mayor Gabit Abdimazhitovich noted that the main goal of this project is to give every citizen the opportunity to contribute to Shymkent's development. All submitted proposals will be carefully reviewed, and concrete decisions will be made based on the most relevant and useful ideas.

This project is an important step in strengthening open dialogue between the city administration and residents, as well as ensuring direct public participation in city governance. This initiative will open the door for residents to actively participate in city life, and will increase shared responsibility for its development.
