Speaking at the second forum of agricultural workers on November 14 this year, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed that agriculture is always at the center of the state's attention. He noted that he attaches special importance to the dynamic development of this industry.

Your work is the foundation of the country's food security and an important contribution to the development of the region's economy. Thanks to your dedication, the agro-industrial complex is steadily developing, and the region's products are in demand not only within the region, but also beyond its borders.

Despite the difficult weather conditions, a decent harvest of cereals, oilseeds, potatoes and vegetables has been harvested. The gross grain harvest reached 7 million tons, which is the best result in the last decade. Animal husbandry is developing: the number of livestock and poultry is increasing, the production of meat, milk and eggs is growing.

New investment projects are being implemented in the region, farms are being modernized, dairy farms are being built and developed, and processing facilities are being expanded. These initiatives create jobs and contribute to the growth of the agricultural sector.

I would like to thank all field and farm workers, specialists and farm managers, scientists and food industry workers for their hard work, professionalism and loyalty to their native land.
