On November 15, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Beirut, together with the renowned Lebanese cultural and educational center "Elite" held a conference titled "Central Asia and the Arab World: The Future of Cooperation." The event took place in Tripoli, the country's second-largest city after Beirut, which was declared the "Cultural Capital" of the Arab World last year. Participants included the city's governor, government officials, parliamentarians, prominent public figures, several former ministers, academics, representatives of education, and the media.

In his opening speech, Kazakh Ambassador Rasul Jumaly presented a report on the history and contemporary development of Kazakhstan, its foreign policy priorities, and the current state and prospects of cooperation with the Arab world. Numerous questions from the audience of over 100 participants were then answered and clarified. Overall, local activists demonstrated their close attention to the current global status of Kazakhstan and Central Asia, as well as its growing strategic and economic opportunities. This created an atmosphere conducive to an open and meaningful dialogue and exchange of opinions. Specially prepared video materials and visually appealing printed materials about our country were presented during the conference.
