Akim of the region,Nurlybek Nalibayev, has seen the progress of works on major repair of health facilities.
First, the head of the region visited the regional infectious hospital. The hospital employs 400 people per shift. The building was built and commissioned in 1989. In the previous year, the project and financial papers were prepared, and experts gave a favorable assessment. LLP "Abu-Ser" has finished 45% of the tasks. The target is set for 2025.
Nurlybek Mashbekovich has seen the major renovation of the Kyzylorda Regional Mental Health Center. The walls of the center building are built from burnt brick, and commissioned in 1973. The design and estimation paperwork was produced in 2022, with a positive expert assessment received. LLP “SMP-Kyzylorda” has accomplished 85% of the task.
The next facility is the regional oncology center. The institution is located in a former modular building of an infectious diseases hospital with 185 beds, built in 2021. 350 employees work here.
Major repairs are being done to the regional phthisiopulmonology center. The five-story building with 235 beds was built in 1981. LLP “Asar” has completed 60% of the repair work. The facility will be carried over to the next year.
Having observed the progress of works on sites, the head of the region assigned several tasks, emphasizing the importance of quality in major repairs.
"The work process deficiencies must be fixed within a two-week period. If the order is not completed by then, the heads of the industries will face repercussions.
The major repairs of these buildings are aimed at improving professional, modern medical care for patients. Funding has been allocated. The contractors are rebuilding the poorly manufactured parts identified today for two jobs. If the results of the work do not meet the requirements, measures will be taken within the framework of the law.
"The oncology center's medical equipment must serve its intended purpose for the population," said Nurlybek Mashbekovich.
