📍Today, the Akim of East Kazakhstan Region, Nūrïmbet Saktaganov, met with Ulrich Kinne, Deputy Ambassador of Germany to Kazakhstan, and representatives of German companies. The parties discussed expanding economic cooperation, investment projects, and collaboration in innovative sectors.

“Germany is an important technological and economic partner of our region. The Ambassador’s visit to East Kazakhstan in September strengthened bilateral dialogue. The main sector of our regional economy is metallurgy. More than 70 industrial enterprises operate in East Kazakhstan. Agriculture and tourism are also developing dynamically,”
— stated the regional head.

🔗During the meeting, the Akim invited German entrepreneurs to initiate various projects in the region. The German side also expressed interest. Thus, the meeting became an important step toward strengthening bilateral partnership.

It should be noted that the trade turnover between East Kazakhstan Region and Germany currently amounts to 39.5 million USD.
