As of today, internet scammers continue to send fake messages with the subject line “Urgent Notice of Required Tax Payment” to email addresses, or, following a well-known scheme, call while posing as employees of the state revenue authorities and claim that tax reporting (Form 270) is allegedly missing.

      Currently, scammers also pose as couriers, claiming that a taxpayer has a letter from the tax authority. They offer a delivery service for this letter, supposedly paid for by the SRC (the tax authority).

     They send a message from the number 1414 to the victim’s phone on behalf of “Enbek.kz” containing a six-digit code and ask the person to dictate it to complete the process.

     The SRC urges citizens to be vigilant, not to trust false messages, not to follow suspicious links, not to provide codes or numbers, to verify the authenticity of received messages, and not to fall for provocations or fraud attempts.

      Use only official sources to obtain information about your tax and financial activities.
