KazAID and GIZ discussed prospects for cooperation within green projects

On 21 November 2025, in Astana, Chairman of the Board of KazAID Arken Arystanov met with Joachim Fritz, Country Director of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed in detail the activities of KazAID, including programs and seminars held in 2024–2025, as well as plans and upcoming projects for 2026.
A separate part of the discussion focused on prospects for cooperation in green projects. The sides exchanged proposals on implementing environmental sustainability initiatives, including possible projects on introducing waste-sorting systems in schools and offices.

The meeting highlighted the mutual interest of KazAID and GIZ in promoting environmentally oriented solutions and expanding long-term cooperation in sustainable development.
