Astana, November 24, 2025 – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman Issetov received Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation Salman Bal on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission.

During the meeting, the diplomats discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda, including the upcoming working visit of the Swiss Vice-President Guy Parmelin to Astana in the framework of the 5^th meeting of the Kazakhstan-Switzerland Business Council.

The positive dynamics of the political dialogue, as well as the expansion of cooperation in trade, economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian spheres were noted. The interlocutors expressed interest in implementing joint projects in the areas of digitalization, transport and logistics, education, and water diplomacy.

Ambassador Bal thanked the Kazakh side for the fruitful cooperation and emphasized the high potential for further strengthening bilateral relations.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Deputy Minister Issetov expressed gratitude to Ambassador Bal for his contribution to the development of Kazakh-Swiss cooperation and awarded him with a Certificate of Honour on behalf of Minister of Foreign Affairs Yermek Kosherbayev.
