Brasilia, November 24, 2025 - Ambassador Bolat Nussupov met with Marcio Gomes, President of the Brazilian Institute of Cinematography in Rio de Janeiro, and Giuseppe Pinelli, a partner at PSC E-Legalnet, at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Brazil.

The parties discussed the possibility of establishing cooperation between the national film companies of Kazakhstan and Brazil in the fields of cinematography, film distribution, and technical exchange, including digitalization and the use of artificial intelligence. An agreement was also reached to exchange delegations for participation in annual international film festivals held in Brazil and Kazakhstan.

Furthermore, issues related to establishing academic exchanges for young people between the two countries at leading universities were discussed.
