The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women is celebrated annually on November 25. It is conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan on July 29, 1998.
In the period from November 25 to December 10, the campaign "16 days without violence" is being held in the city of Kurchatov.
The main purpose of the campaign is to familiarize the general public with measures to prevent and combat violence against women, and to draw public attention to this problem.
If you encounter a problem of gender-based, sexual, or domestic violence at the first threat, do not hesitate to contact the Kurchatov Police Department at 3-38-02 or the hotline (whatsapp) 8-747-542-06-16.
If you are not ready to go to the police, you can contact the AMANAT party at 3-48-76, the Council of Mothers, the City Commission for Women and Family and Demographic Policy at tel. +7 705 155 85 18 , where you will receive psychological and legal support. All you have to do is ask for help.
Your main task is to escape from the harmful influence by all means and protect yourself and your loved ones. The first step towards this is to realize that domestic violence is not a "family matter" or a domestic conflict, but a criminal offense!
