The Department of State Revenue for the Pavlodar region recalls restrictive measures for the export of farm animals outside the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to the new orders of the Minister of Agriculture dated November 4, 2025, No. 415 and 416 "On certain issues of export of farm animals", a ban on the export of cattle calves has been introduced since November 5. Quantitative restrictions (quotas) on the export of sheep and goats have also been established.

Within the framework of quotas, it is allowed to export no more than 120 thousand heads of sheep and male goats older than 4 months.

The ban and restrictions will last until April 30, 2026 inclusive.

The measures were introduced in order to ensure the country's food security, stabilize the domestic market and reload domestic processing enterprises.
